A clear, stable framework for Official Partners and Applicants
Program Integrity & Purpose
The GO-FOR-GOLD Program is a structured, transparent, and legally grounded citizenship and permanent residency program, designed to align with President Julius Maada Bio's commitment to encouraging Foreign Direct Investment and built to foster genuine economic participation.
Financial Means Requirement
The Special Naturalisation Protocol requires that each main applicant is a person of sufficient means, with adequate financial resources, assets, or income to support themselves independently.
This requirement is satisfied through applicant self-declaration as part of the application process. No fixed net worth threshold is prescribed, and applicants are not required to provided documentary proof of financial standing
The program’s due diligence process is designed to assess an applicant’s overall profile using a combination of publicly available information and independent verification methods.
In certain cases, our due diligence partners may request limited additional supporting documentation to complete a satisfactory assessment; however, this is the exception rather than the norm.
THE LAW
Section 23 Citizenship Act 1973 avails unfettered discretion for the Minister of Interior to avail citizenship and section 27(a) grants the power to the President to regulate anything under the Act.
Pending adoption of legislative adjustments to the Citizenship Act (below) and the instrument of Special Naturalisation (draft enclosed slated to commence in April 2026) this is the regime adopted:
Minister approves (s23)
Draft Regulation terms (enclosed) apply unless there are adjustments made based on market experience prior to publication of the Special Naturalisation regulation (s27(a) avails).
The GO-FOR-GOLD Program operates with three non-negotiable pillars:
• Consistency — One program, one framework, equal treatment for all applicants. • Transparency — Clear rules, documented processes, and no out-of-program arrangements. • Integrity — This is a long-term, investment-aligned program designed with a genuine economic purpose.
After an initial third-party Pre-Application KYC process, the GO-FOR-GOLD Program entrusts due diligence of all applicants over 18 to Harod Associates Ltd, a UK-based investigative firm accredited in citizenship and investment-migration vetting.
These standards are what protect partners, clients, and the reputation of the program itself.
This balance is what gives GO-FOR-GOLD long-term credibility and distinguishes it from transactional, low-integrity models found elsewhere.
The Incorporated Company: An optional, complimentary component of the GO-FOR-GOLD Program
Every GO-FOR-GOLD application includes the complimentary option of a fully registered Sierra Leone company, complete with:
A corporate bank account
A nominee shareholder/director
A registered office address
First-year maintenance and compliance covered
This structure is a component of the program’s design, affording new citizens the option of a genuine, ready-to-operate investment vehicle aligned to encourage Foreign Direct Investment in Sierra Leone.
Once naturalisation is complete, the company becomes the asset of the new citizen to manage as they see fit.
What Happens After Naturalisation?
Once the Certificate of Naturalisation is signed by the President:
The incorporated company is fully under the applicant’s control.
If it remains dormant, it may be struck off with no fees.
If used actively, normal compliance obligations apply.
After the first year, ongoing full-service corporate maintenance is available at USD 2,500 per year.
Domestic Compliance Responsibilities
GO-FOR-GOLD compliance is governed by Sierra Leonean law and the integrity framework of the program. These rules are fixed, universal, and form part of our own regulatory obligations.
Applicants may come from jurisdictions with vastly different marital laws, tax, reporting, or disclosure requirements. For that reason:
We cannot tailor the programme to each country’s domestic rules, nor can we comment on an applicant’s home-country tax, disclosure, or reporting obligations.
Any obligations arising in a client’s country of citizenship, residence, or tax domicile remain the responsibility of the applicant and their professional advisers.
This boundary protects both the applicant and the program from misinterpretation.
Clients may face additional legal or reporting obligations in their own countries. We encourage all applicants to seek independent local expertise; our role is to deliver a transparent and consistent Sierra Leone program
Program Principles: Why the GO-FOR-GOLD Program Is Different, Dependable, and Trustworthy
GO-FOR-GOLD is new, unique, and designed to be perfectly fit for purpose.
Legally grounded
Consistently implemented
Impervious to interpretation
Insulated from “special arrangements”
We provide applicants with a genuine investment-ready vehicle, a clear pathway to citizenship, and a consistent, compliant framework.
What individuals choose to build with these tools differs from person to person — but the tools themselves are real, with the foundation intact.
A Short GO-FOR-GOLD Summary & Official Partner Messaging Expectations
To maintain program integrity:
Partners must communicate the program accurately and consistently, specifically:
The corporate entity is included as an optional, and complimentary, structured investment vehicle
Domestic compliance obligations are outside program scope.
This is an investment-aligned citizenship and permanent residency pathway, not a transactional “passport for purchase” program
The program is governed strictly by Sierra Leonean law
The GO-FOR-GOLD team is not able to provide advice on accounting, taxation, or domestic compliance regulations. Applicants should consult qualified professionals for guidance on these matters. Introductions can be made.
Clear, consistent messaging protects partners, clients, and the long-term viability of the entire GO-FOR-GOLD ecosystem.
The Foundation We Stand On
This program is only as strong as the integrity with which it is managed.
Our structure is firm. Our standards are deliberate. Our message is consistent. And the tools we provide are real, meaningful, and aligned with Sierra Leone’s national development vision.
