All persons becoming citizens by way of Special Naturalisation pass on their citizenship to offspring born after the date they are Naturalised Cives omnes iure et officio pares sun.
The new child is registered with the NCRA in Sierra Leone.
National Civil Registration Authority
It is the government body responsible for:
- Civil registration (births, deaths, marriages, divorces)
- National identity management
- Issuing the National ID card
- Maintaining the national population database
- Vital statistics for government planning
