The main applicant can include the following as 'normal dependants': Spouse / Partner Children (18 years and younger) Parents Grandparents

Special Dependants

Recognising that the definition of the family has changed over time, the government of Sierra Leone offers provisions for 'special dependants' to accommodate modern family structures. These include: Siblings (age 30 and below) Spouse/s of siblings Children of siblings (age 18 and below) Last Remaining Relative Additional Spouses - The Government of Sierra Leone recognises marriages that are legally valid under the laws of the main applicant’s home jurisdiction, including polygamous marriages where such arrangements are recognised locally. Acceptable evidence includes marriage certificates, affidavits, or any documentation that would customarily serve as proof of a spousal relationship in the Main Applicant’s country of origin.

+1 Business Partner Incentive

This incentive reflects real‑world investment behavior where co‑investors act together, encouraging joint ventures and expanded Foreign Direct Investment inflows. No proof of prior business partnership relationship is required to qualify for the +1 Business Partner Incentive. All that is required is: i. +1 Business Partner must be 21 years OR older ii. Must pass Due Diligence iii. The +1 Business Partner Incentive of USD 30 000 must be paid into escrow as per all other dependant fees.
